A 33-year-old man has been charged in a shooting incident on Circle Drive in Lindale that occurred on June 16.
According to an arrest warrant:
Jeffary Lee Akins of Lindale is charged with aggravated assault, reckless conduct, pointing or aiming a pistol at another, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
The warrant states that the victim sustained a gunshot wound to the buttocks.
