NAMI Rome is gearing up its annual NAMIWalks mental health awareness and fundraising event, which will be on Saturday, September 20.
A kickoff event is on Tuesday from 5:00-6:30 pm at The Spires at Berry College.
The purpose of the kickoff event is to encourage people to register and form walk teams, recognize sponsors, hand out prizes, and have fun. There will also be Hors d’oeuvres
The goal is 35 teams..
Consider becoming a team captain as they play a critical role in the walk.
There are plenty of resources that will guide you through the process of registering and reaching out to your friends and family to join your team.
Also, you’ll find helpful ways to raise donations.
