Authorities have released the name of a Bartow County woman who drowned in Lake Allatoona on Tuesday.
59-year-old Sheree Keeling of White drowned after she suffered a medical emergency between 1:30 and 2:00 p.m. while swimming in the lake between McKaskey Creek Road and Wilderness Camp Road.
She was wearing a ski belt, which is a flotation device worn around the waist.
Family members managed to recover her, and somebody performed CPR before her transport to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
