A second arrest has been made in the theft of funds from a business in Rome.
According to an arrest warrant:
45-year-old Gary Adam Cook of Rome made over 200 cash advance withdrawals totaling $90,000 using the victim’s financial transaction card between July of 2023 and August of 2024.
The victim is listed at APEX/MANCO/S&M, 701 Broad Street, Suite 200.
Cook is charged with felony theft by taking.
Earlier this week, 51-year-old Patricia Ann Morabito of Shannon was charged with theft by taking for allegedly stealing $200,000 while an employee at the same company.
