Report: Man found with two pounds of meth
A Silver Creek man has been arrested on a felony warrant charging him with trafficking methamphetamine.
According to the warrant:
40-year old Christopher Dewayne Bailey was found with approximately two pounds of meth during a traffic stop on April 10 at Highway 101 and Windmill Drive.
Bailey is also charged with possession of meth, possession with the intent to distribute, and several probation violations.
Two arrested for trafficking meth
Two Silver Creek men were arrested during a traffic stop on Turner McCall Boulevard over the weekend on methamphetamine trafficking charges.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
65-year old Robert Lynn White and 43-year old Nicholas Brent Stout were found with over 28 grams of meth following a K9 indication.
Cocaine, baggies, a digital scale, glass pipes, and $2,800 in cash were also seized.
Both men were additionally charged with possession of meth, possession of meth with the intent to distribute, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute, and possession of drug-related objects.
Stout was also charged with operation of a vehicle without a current license plate.
Man facing additional drug charges
A Rome man arrested earlier this month at his Melton Avenue home for allegedly conspiring with others to sell methamphetamine is facing additional charges.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
46-year old Jimmy Dale Guice sold meth to a cooperating witness in June of last year.
He is charged with the sale of meth, possession of meth, and possession with the intent to distribute.
Man accused of selling meth to cooperating witness
A man arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop last week is facing additional charges of the sale of methamphetamine, possession of meth and possession with the intent to distribute.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
51-year old Oliver Watkins Ashley II sold meth to a cooperating witness back on May 15, 2024.
Search warrant nets drugs
Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force officers executed a search warrant on Maple Road last week, resulting in the arrest of a Rome woman on drug charges.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
54-year-old Susan Elaine Crocker had methamphetamine, alprazolam, and glass smoking devices.
She also allowed a wanted felon to hide inside her residence, resulting in a felony count of hindering the apprehension of a criminal.
Man arrested for meth, marijuana possession
A Rome man was arrested in the 2700 block of Maple Road on drug charges over the weekend.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Individual bags and two containers of marijuana were found during an inventory search as part of a traffic stop, along with a crystal substance believed to be methamphetamine.
51-year-old Sean Daniel Maxwell is charged with possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute, possession of methamphetamine, and driving under the influence of drugs.
Report: Woman found with meth and marijuana
A 66-year-old Rome woman is facing drug charges following her arrest on Saturday.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Barbara Marie Roach had individual bags and containers of suspected methamphetamine and marijuana, along with empty bags used for resale.
She is charged with possession of meth, possession of meth with the intent to distribute, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, and possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute.
