A Cedartown man already in the Floyd County Jail has been served with warrants charging him with obscene internet contact with a child and solicitation of sodomy.
According to the warrants:
41-year-old John Wesley Fain contacted a minor via Snapchat between May 1 and May 9 of this year, and asked how much she would charge to allow him to perform a sex act on her.
Fain knew the victim was a minor because he had been previously informed by the girl’s mother.
Fain has been in jail since May 28 after being arrested for theft by taking after allegedly stealing a gun.
