Man charged in 2022 robbery in Cave Spring
An arrest has been made in connection with an armed robbery that occurred on Georgia Avenue in Cave Spring back in 2022.
According to an arrest warrant:
34-year-old James Francis Kubach Jr. of Hartselle, Alabama, and another man got out of their vehicle and opened the door of a parked vehicle, robbing the occupant at gunpoint.
Kubach is charged with robbery.
Man accused of stealing from a disabled adult
An Adairsville man was booked into the Floyd County Jail on Tuesday on felony charges of identity theft, identity fraud, financial transaction card fraud, and exploitation of a disabled adult.
According to an arrest warrant and jail records:
36-year-old Bruce Alan Harper used the victim’s credit card and identifying information without permission to obtain money on December 16, December 22, and December 25.
The victim also gave Harper a check to pay rent in November.
However, Harper cashed the check and did not pay the rent, resulting in an eviction process being filed against the victim.
Two accused of selling meth to a cooperating witness
Two Silver Creek women were arrested on Tuesday after allegedly selling 28 grams of methamphetamine to a cooperating police witness.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
60-year old Cindy Michelle Waits and 54-year old Wanda Michelle Davenport were also found in possession of over an additional ounce of meth.
The sale was captured on audio/video.
Waits and Davenport are charged with trafficking, possession and possession with the intent to distribute meth.
Two arrested for meth on Alma Drive
Two people were arrested on drug charges following the execution of a search warrant at an Alma Road residence on Tuesday.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
40-year-old Tony Dewayne Sullivan and 45-year-old Clarice Marie Sullivan were found in possession of approximately ten grams of methamphetamine and digital scales.
Both are charged with possession of meth and possession with the intent to distribute.
