Rush Chapel Road will be closed during the day this week while crews make repairs ahead of a paving project that is soon to be announced.
Floyd County Public Works will the road beginning Monday, May 12, through Thursday, May 15, beginning at 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
The public will be notified if there are delays and nighttime work is required.
Detours will be Highway 140 and Calhoun Road.
Three locations have been identified for repairs.
The first will be on Rush Chapel Road near Calhoun Road at #1050, followed by #865 in the middle and concluding with #82 near Highway 140.
The paving project will occur at another time.
