A woman reported being robbed at knifepoint early Friday morning.
According to a Rome Police Department report:
The victim told officers that she was at the City Center Food Mart across from Krystal on Shorter Avenue when she was approached by a female, who asked for a ride.
The victim drove the suspect to Walter Street.
The suspect then began making a stabbing motion with a knife and punched the victim in the eye.
The suspect took the victim’s pocketbook, containing $200 in cash, and left.
