We have a detour to tell you about for motorists in Bartow County.
Georgia Department of Transportation crews will be reconstructing the intersection of Old Alabama Road and Paga Mine Road beginning Tuesday.
The construction will close Paga Mine Road at the intersection and is part of the larger Old Alabama Road widening project.
The intersection should be completed and reopened in about two months.
Motorists traveling east on Old Alabama Road to reach Paga Mine Road will follow Old Alabama Road and take Red Top Mountain Road to the State Route 293 Connector.
Drivers will turn left on to Main Street and follow it back to Paga Mine Road.
