A massive new data center is being proposed for the Kingston area in Bartow County.
According to the Development of Regional Impact forms filed with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs:
The data center project, known as “Operation Springbank,” will consist of 6 buildings totaling 2,274,000 square feet and will utilize closed-loop technology to reduce water and sewer demand.
The exact location is north of Barnsley Gardens Road and Horseshoe Loop.
The estimated value at build-out is $4.5 million and the estimated completion date is December of 2031.
The developer is Atlas Development LLC.
