Report: Man drove toward officer before crashing into occupied single-wide trailer

A Rome man is facing multiple charges including aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

31-year-old Brandon Kyle Lee Isham was trespassing on Roberts Road.

He went to the back of the residence, got into his vehicle, and drove toward a police patrol vehicle.

Isham ran over a dog kennel and destroyed a privacy fence before crashing into the side of a single-wide trailer that was occupied by a family of three.

There were also open containers of alcohol in the vehicle.

Isham is also charged with fleeing or attempting to elude, criminal damage to property, obstruction of officers, criminal trespass, reckless conduct, reckless driving, DUI, open container, stalking, and driving with a suspended or revoked license.

Alabama man accused of fleeing from police

A Centre, Alabama man was apprehended on Rooney Road after reportedly fleeing from police over the weekend.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

An officer attempted to stop a vehicle driven by 66-year-old Robert Wayne King for using the wrong tag.

King refused to stop, plowing through two stop signs and traveling 60 in a 25-mile-per-hour zone.

He then got out of the vehicle and fled on foot before being caught by a K9 unit.

King was then found with methamphetamine.

He is charged with fleeing or attempting to elude, possession of meth, concealing the identity of a vehicle, and a couple of stop sign violations.

Woman charged with aggravated animal cruelty

A 69-year-old Rome woman is accused of failing to provide adequate food, water, and medical care for her seven puppies.

According to an arrest warrant:

The puppies were emaciated, covered in fleas, and had worms.

Three of them were almost lifeless.

One died shortly after intake and the rest had to be euthanized.

Martha Lee Redwine is charged with multiple counts of aggravated cruelty to animals.

Woman charged with meth possession, tampering with evidence

A Rome woman was arrested after she allegedly threw a baggie of methamphetamine out of the driver’s side window during a traffic stop on East Second Avenue.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

Police initially stopped the vehicle driven by 49-year-old Jennifer Erin Ware for a cracked windshield.

Ware is charged with possession of meth, tampering with evidence, and a windshield violation.

Woman accused of stealing rental car

A 39-year-old Rome woman has been arrested on a felony warrant charging her with theft by taking a motor vehicle.

According to the warrant:

Rebecca Lee Ann Hall failed to return a 2022 Toyota Corolla to Enterprise Rent-A-Car on Shorter Avenue when the rental agreement was terminated on August 26.
