A 47-year-old Rome woman was arrested at her Weathington Road home Tuesday on a felony warrant charging her with exploitation and intimidation of the elderly.

According to the warrant:

Dolly Kay Womack picked up the victim, who is a hospice patient with a terminal illness, and threw him onto a bed.

Womack then bragged about doing so.

She also told the victim that she should withhold his medication and strap him down on the bed, denying him a cigarette, food, and water.

Womack reportedly made statements that he should stop fighting, asking why the victim wanted to keep living this way, adding that if it were her, she would have already “checked out.”
