A Rome man was arrested at his Nixon Avenue home Monday on charges of aggravated assault and 1st-degree cruelty to children.
Floyd County Jail records did not go into specifics regarding the alleged assault other than to state that the juvenile victim sustained several broken ribs and a brain bleed.
30-year-old Cesar Alejandro Lopez Jr. remains jailed without bond.
