The Rome-Floyd Metro Task Force, assisted by Rome-Floyd SWAT, seized drugs 35 grams of methamphetamine, five grams of crack cocaine, scales, and a .22 rifle at a residence on Shoals Ferry Road Saturday.
55-year-old Bernard Lee Brown, the primary target of the operation, has been charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute, trafficking methamphetamine, possession of crack cocaine, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
31-year-old Amber Brook Danford has been charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession and use of drug-related objects, and possession of dangerous drugs.
20-year-old Alexis Marie Rayburn faces charges of criminal trespass.
According to a news release from the task force:
“This operation reflects the Rome Floyd Metro Task Force’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of our community by combating illegal drug activities. The task force will continue to work diligently to identify and apprehend individuals involved in criminal enterprises that threaten the peace and safety of the neighborhoods of Rome and Floyd County.”
