Man charged with interference with an electronic monitoring device
A 20-year-old Rome man is accused of failing to charge a court-ordered electronic monitoring device.
According to an arrest warrant:
Damarius Tyrese Hodges was required to wear an ankle monitor at all times as a condition of his bond.
The device died on September 16 and has not been charged since.
Attempts to contact Hodges were unsuccessful.
He also owes $270 for monitoring fees.
Hodges is charged with interference with an electronic monitoring device and misdemeanor obstruction for allegedly running from officers.
Woman charged with making threat, shoplifting
A Rome woman has been arrested in connection with an incident at T.J. Maxx on Turner McCall Boulevard that occurred on October 28.
According to the arrest warrants:
28-year-old Lakendria Antoinette Slaton took nearly $107 in clothing and then threatened to kill a store employee.
Slaton is charged with terroristic threats and acts, and theft by shoplifting.
Rockmart woman arrested in Rome on drug charges
A Rockmart woman was arrested at a location on Park Road off Blacks Bluff Road Monday on charges of possession of cocaine and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
27-year-old Haley Brianna Thompson was found with suspected cocaine and a small amount of marijuana.
