A 47-year-old Rome man was recently arrested on drug trafficking charges on Chateau Drive at Highway 411.
According to Floyd County Jail records:
Jeremy Wade Beach was found with four pounds of methamphetamine, along with packaging materials and digital scales.
In addition to trafficking, he is charged with possession of meth with the intent to distribute, possession of drug-related objects, and misdemeanor obstruction.
The report states that Beach fled on foot after being removed from his vehicle and resisted being placed into handcuffs.
