Man accused of threatening to send gang members to kill woman

An Adairsville man was booked into the Floyd County Jail Monday on a felony warrant charging him with terroristic threats and acts.

According to the warrant:

22-year-old Chase Ladon Posey threatened a woman by telling her that he was going to send a group of gang members to kill her.

Posey is also charged with battery in connection with the incident that occurred on October 31 on Autry Road.

Woman facing drug charges

A Shannon woman is facing drug charges following her arrest on Cartersville Highway on Monday.

According to Floyd County Jail records:

51-year-old Pamela Diann Reese Askew was found in possession of a crystal-like substance consistent with methamphetamine, suspected marijuana, and a Gabapentin pill not prescribed to her.

Askew is charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana, and possession of a Schedule V controlled substance.
