Saturday afternoon the 8th annual “Fiddlin’ Fest between the Rivers” event transformed downtown Rome into a giant bluegrass street celebration.

The festival featured the classic sounds of bluegrass music on two live music stages along with activities along every block of Broadstreet.

Fiddlin’ Fest sported a multitude of vendors with everything from pottery, handmade jewelry, paintings, candy, clothing, and more.

Eventgoers enjoyed the “Cars on Broad” car show which featured vehicles from every decade including pre-1950, trucks, and more.

There was even a pony ride area set up for the kids.

The free event was made possible thanks to the Office of Downtown Development and the support of Downtown Rome businesses and property owners.
