The family of a Georgia State Patrol cadet who died during training last year has received a mortgage-free home thanks to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. 

Patrick Dupree of Rome was a member of the 113th Trooper School when he collapsed following a training exercise at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center on Sept. 8, 2022.

He was rushed to the hospital where he died.

In recognition of the 22nd anniversary of the terror attacks, the Tunnel to Towers Foundation delivered mortgage-free homes to 22 of America’s Heroes and the families they leave behind.

According to Fox 5 in Atlanta, Dupree’s family received their new home in Cartersville during a private ceremony on Monday.
