Monday afternoon the Salvation Army of Rome held their volunteer appreciation luncheon at the Rome Civic Center as part of Salvation Army Week.

The event celebrated all volunteers, donors, and beneficiaries who aid the organization in their day-to-day ministries and services:

After a musical program performed by Salvation Army violin students, Rome Commissioner Jamie Doss was inducted as a lifetime board member after volunteering for over 15 years on the advisory board with the Salvation Army of Rome.

Captains Tim and Paula Blevins were honored for their service in leading the Rome Branch since 2020. The Captains announced recently that they are being transferred to Warner Robins in June.
