The Rome Floyd Planning Department will be changing the submission deadlines of the Planning Commission (PC), Board of Adjustments (BOA), and Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) to meet the requirements found in HB 1405 pertaining to Zoning Procedures Law.

Revisions to the Zoning Procedures Law became effective July 1, 2022, and have a grace period until July 1, 2023. HB 1405 clarifies the process for appeals of zoning decisions and disputes.
