Walker County Sheriff Steve Wilson said on Wednesday that a LaFayette man was arrested and charged in connection with molesting a child under the age of sixteen.

Wilson said that James Franklin Frazier of a Carl Hegwood Drive, LaFayette address was arrested this week and charged with four counts of aggravated sodomy, three counts of aggravated sexual battery, two counts of child molestation, aggravated child molestation and enticing a child for indecent purposes.

According to the Walker County Sheriff’s Office, Fraizer was arrested and held without bond pending a hearing in Superior Court.
