FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A 63-year-old man from Athens, Tennessee was booked into the Floyd County Jail Saturday on charges of criminal attempt to commit aggravated child molestation, furnishing obscene materials to minors, electronic enticement of a child, obscene internet contact with a child, and sexual exploitation of children.

According to jail records, Thomas Edward Brackett sent pictures of his private parts and two pornographic videos to someone he believed to be under 16.

He asked the person for nude pictures and to perform a sex act before traveling from his home to Floyd County to engage in sex acts.

Brackett was found with clonazepam during his arrest and was also charged with possessing a controlled substance.
