A 35-year-old Rome woman has been charged in connection with a shooting incident at Banty Jones Park back on June 4 of 2021.
According to the arrest warrant, Lachanda Chervon Daniel discharged a firearm at the victim in the presence of approximately 200 people near the roadway at the park on East 13th Street.
Daniel is charged with aggravated assault, reckless conduct, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and discharge of a weapon near a public street.
