The Floyd County Board of Elections and Registration will hold a special called meeting on Monday to approve the Brunch Referendum passed by the Floyd County Commission.
Last Tuesday, commissioners approved the resolution calling for the referendum that, if approved by voters, would permit the county to regulate Sunday sales of package and on-premises alcoholic beverages between the hours of 11:00 am and midnight.
Monday’s board of elections meeting will start at 4:30 p.m. at the new Floyd County Election Center, located at 18 East 12th Street.
The meeting is open to the public.
