Monday’s state average of $3.90 is 52 cents less than last month, but still 94 cents more than this time last year.
According to Montrae Waiters with AAA, lower domestic demand for gas and declining crude oil prices continue to be the main factors for lower pump prices.
Local averages on Monday were $3.87 in Floyd County, $3.83 in Bartow County, $3.70 in Gordon County, $3.73 in Chattooga County, and $3.94 in Polk County.
