FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

An inmate at the Floyd County Jail is facing additional charges after fighting with deputies.

According to jail records, 18-year-old Jakayla Shantell Campbell spit in face of one of the officers and headbutted another.

Campbell is charged with felony obstruction, simple battery, simple assault, and unlawful acts of violence in a penal institution.

Campbell has been in jail since May 3, when she was arrested on an aggravated assault charge after allegedly stabbing another person in the shoulder.
