Rome City Commission meets Monday

The Rome City Commission will discuss revisions to the 2021 budget when they meet Monday night.

The commission meeting begins at 6:30 p.m. at Rome City Hall.

They are also expected to consider a recommendation to approve a ten-year contract with Parker Systems in the amount of $50,000 for a master service agreement at the EOC and Fire Headquarters.

This amount will be split evenly between the City of Rome and Floyd County.

City Commissioners will also read proclamations for Pride Month and recognize the retirement of Lloyd Frasier with the Northwest Georgia Regional Commission.

During the caucus, which starts at 5 p.m., the commission will hear a presentation from the City of Rome Planning Department.
