The free COVID-19 test site at the LakePoint sports complex in Bartow County will be closing after April 28.

Officials with the Georgia Department of Public Health say demand for free tests has decreased significantly as COVID-19 cases drop and home tests become more readily available.

DPH officials recommend those seeking tests to visit www.hhs.gov to find free testing centers as well as additional testing options.
