On Thursday evening the Rome Police Department honored traffic safety enforcement efforts for 2021 with departmental traffic enforcement awards.

Maxine Strickland and Patricia Studdard were honored for having 20 years of service as School Crossing Safety Officers.

Officers David McGuire, Steve Cantrell, Ricky Mills, Scott Kent, and Coleman White were awarded officer achievements that outline dedication to the motoring public.
