A bicyclist died Wednesday evening after being struck by a pickup truck on Redmond Circle at Westside Industrial Boulevard.

According to Floyd County Coroner Gene Proctor, 20-year old Joseph Campbell was pronounced dead at the hospital at 8:48 p.m.

The pickup truck that hit Campbell left the scene.

We are expecting more information from Rome Police concerning the incident.
