The Rome City Commission will consider a resolution authorizing the consolidation of the Cave Spring Housing Authority with the Northwest Georgia Housing Authority when they meet Monday night.
The resolution also calls for the board of commissioners of the Northwest Georgia Housing Authority would be expanded to comprise of a total of eight members.
Also Monday, the city commission will consider an ordinance amendment that would extend the hours for the pouring and consumption of wine on days other than Sunday.
Second Reading of a Unified Land Development Code text amendment to allow townhomes, triplexes, and duplexes along major streets with restrictions is also on the agenda for the meeting, which begins at 6:30 p.m. at Rome City Hall.
During the caucus, which starts at 5 p.m., the commission will hear from Bill Zieburtz with Stantec regarding a water rate study.
