Rome High names Governor’s Honors Semi-Finalists

ROME CITY SCHOOLS

Rome High School has announced its 2022 Governor’s Honors Program Semi-Finalists.

They are:

Asiel Castillo-Campos – Engineering

Shriya Garg – Mathematics

Conchetta Dodge – Chemistry

Miriam Loys – Biology/Environmental Science

All semifinalists’ interviews will take place at Berry College on February 26.

Finalists and alternates will be notified on March 25. 

The Georgia GHP is a residential summer program for gifted and talented high school students, offering instruction that is significantly different from the typical high school classroom.

It is designed to provide students with the academic, cultural, and social enrichment necessary to become the next generation of global critical thinkers, innovators, and leaders.

Governor’s Honors will take place on the campus of Berry College for the sixth time this summer.
