FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A Rome man has been charged with a felony count of serious injury by vehicle in connection with a wreck on January 28 on Old Dalton Road at Armuchee Creek.

According to the Floyd County Jail records, 18-year old Elijah Lester Henry attempted to pass two vehicles on a double-yellow line at an unsafe speed in a curve, causing a wreck with a serious injury.

The arrest warrant states that a woman sustained injuries to her left knee and right hip, requiring surgery.

Henry is also charged with reckless driving, passing in a no passing zone, and too fast for conditions.
