FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A 50-year old Rome man was arrested on aggravated assault charges Monday after he put a knife to a woman’s throat on Moran Lake Road.

According to Floyd County Jail records, Joe Matthew Nix also threatened to cut the victim up into pieces and kill everyone she knows.

Nix was also charged with terroristic threats and acts.
