FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

A Cartersville man is accused of traveling to Floyd County with the intent of engaging in sex acts with a minor.

According to Floyd County Jail records, 19-year old Dakota Duane Martin made contact online with someone he believed to be under the age of 16.

He then engaged in a graphic conversation and sent the person a lewd selfie before traveling to Floyd County. 

Martin is charged with criminal attempt to commit aggravated child molestation, furnishing obscene material to minors, sexually explicit contact with a minor, obscene internet contact with a child, and the use of a computer to entice a child.
