12-year old reported missing

January 1, 2022–7:45 p.m.

ADAIRSVILLE POLICE DEPARTMENT

The Adairsville Police Department would like the public to be informed about the following in regards to 12-year-old Lavin Holloway:

Yesterday, at about 7:45 p.m. Lavin Andrew Holloway was discovered to be missing. His father checked with all his friends and neighbors and walked to all the areas he thought Lavin might be. At about 10:00 p.m. Lavin’s father notified Bartow County 911 and the Adairsville Police Department. The police department immediately entered Lavin as a missing person through the National Crime Information Center. A BOLO (Be On the Look Out) was also sent out to all surrounding agencies. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation has also been assisting with the case. Currently, it is known that Lavin packed a backpack with 3-4 changes of clothing, his Wi-Fi-only cell phone, and possibly a pair of earbuds before disappearing.

Lavin was last seen wearing blue shorts, a gray in color sweatshirt, black Crocs or bright orange shoes, and a black ball cap. Lavin has short brownish blonde hair, is 5 foot 6 inches tall, weighs approximately 170 pounds, and is considered friendly and polite by all his neighbors and friends. If you see Lavin Andrew Holloway or have information as to his whereabouts, please call 911 immediately.
