FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

An inmate at the Floyd County Jail is facing charges of interference with government property, unlawful acts of violence in a penal institution, and criminal damage to property following an incident Sunday morning.

According to jail records, 25-year old Jesse Tyra Glaze intentionally destroyed fire sprinklers, flooding the N Block.

This is not the first time Glaze has been charged in connection with violent acts at the jail.

In January, Glaze reportedly threw urine at a jail officer.

In May, Glaze was involved in a scuffle that left a jail officer with a broken nose and jaw.
