Man charged with the sale of meth and conspiracy

A 31-year old Rome man was jailed Monday on felony warrants charging him with conspiracy to possess methamphetamine and the sale of methamphetamine.

According to the warrants, Zachary Andrew Woods conspired with another person to arrange the purchase of meth back on March 6.

Then on March 10, Woods sold meth to a confidential informant.

Woods is also charged with the use of a communication facility to commit a crime involving drugs, giving a false name or date of birth to a law enforcement officer, failure to appear in court, and a probation violation.
