Report: Man burglarized home, threatened occupants

An Adairsville man was booked into the Floyd County Jail Tuesday on charges of 1st-degree burglary, terroristic threats and acts, criminal trespass, and hindering a person from making an emergency call.

According to jail records, 23-year old Jack McClain Pyles entered a residence on Reynolds Bend Road and threatened the lives of the occupants.

He also broke the phone of one of the victims as she tried to call 911.

Pyles was also charged with reckless driving for entering the driveway of the home too quickly, causing his vehicle to strike a large tree.
