The Rome City Commission again took no action on an amendment to the curfew ordinance during their meeting Monday night.
The proposal is to lower the curfew from 11 p.m. to 10 p.m. in light of recent incidents involving unsupervised juveniles in Downtown Rome.
The commission decided to leave the amendment on the table for now.
Meanwhile, a task force on downtown safety has a meeting scheduled for Thursday.
It will begin at 6 p.m. in the Sam King Room at Rome City Hall.
