According to the Georgia Department of Public Health, Floyd County reported two more COVID-19 deaths on Thursday.

220 Floyd County residents have now lost their lives to the virus since the start of the pandemic.

15 of those deaths occurring since September 1.

95 new positive test results were also reported Wednesday for a total of 13,548.

Statewide, there were 4,829 new cases reported Thursday.

There were also 155 confirmed deaths in Georgia.
