It’s almost time for the Northwest Georgia Fair in Calhoun.

This year there are safety protocols in place for the outdoor environment.

The fair starts Friday and will go until Saturday, September 18 at the fairgrounds off Highway 53.

Attractions include nightly concerts, school band performances, a petting zoo, a carnival, and rides.

The livestock contests will be the only contests this year, and the 2021 pageants have been canceled due to COVID 19.
