On Tuesday morning a crowd gathered to celebrate the groundbreaking ceremony of the Redmond Trail at the Mt. Berry Trailhead.

The Redmond Trail is a partnership between Floyd County, The City of Rome, and TRED of Rome/Floyd County.

The ¼ mile will connect Mt. Berry to the Avenue A / Levee Trail, thereby creating the first continuous loop in the Heritage Trail Network.
