FLOYD COUNTY JAIL RECORDS

An inmate at the Floyd County Jail is facing charges in connection with an incident on Tuesday.

According to jail records, 44-year old Joshua Daniel Richardson broke the visitation kiosk and attempted to assault three jail officers.

Richardson is charged with interference with government property, felony obstruction of officers, and unlawful acts of violence in a penal institution.

Richardson has been in jail since January when he was arrested for striking a Rome Police Officer in the face with a tree branch.
