Two qualify for Rome Board of Education Tuesday

Candidate qualifying for the November 2 municipal elections continues.

On Tuesday, incumbents Alvin Jackson and Jill Fisher qualified to seek re-election to the Rome Board of Education.

On Monday, incumbents Melissa Davis, John Uldrick, and Will Byington qualified as did Tracy McDew and Pascha Burge.

For Rome City Commission, two candidates have qualified for three seats in Ward 2.

They are Elaina Beeman and LuGina Brown.

Qualifying ends on Friday.
