Calhoun Police arrest armed robbery suspects

CALHOUN POLICE REPORT

Two Acworth men were arrested Tuesday following an armed robbery at Ginger’s Grocery on Dews Pond Road in Calhoun.

According to the police report, 22-year old Cameron David Mulligan entered the store wearing all black and a mask just after 1 p.m.

He pointed a gun at the clerk, the clerk’s wife, and their 7-year old child before taking $646 and fleeing the store.

The K9 unit was called and Mulligan was taken into custody at the nearby Harmony Church Cemetery.

The gun was recovered.

18-year old Matthew Glendon Price, who was driving a van believed to have been involved in the robbery, was arrested on Red Bud Road.
