Rome/Floyd Fall Sports Registration In Full Swing

July 19th, 2021 – 5:25 PM

Rome Floyd Parks and Recreation –

The following is a press release from the Rome Floyd Parks and Recreation:

“It’s never too early to get kids registered to play fall sports, and several sports still have money-saving, early-registration discounts available. Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation offers several fall sports, including football, baseball, softball, t-ball, volleyball, and gymnastics. Registration is currently open for all of them.

Even though basketball isn’t a fall sport, early registration is also open for it.

Early registration dates for fall sports end between mid-July and early August. Early registration gives a discount and ensures a child’s placement on a team.

Team formation and practices in all sports are set to begin once regular registration ends. Kids who live outside Rome and Floyd County are welcome to register and compete but will need to pay a $20 out-of-county fee at registration.

Coaches and officials are also needed for several sports.

For more information, please call 706.291.0766, go to our website at www.rfpra.com or visit our main office at One Shorter Avenue.”
