The Rome Board of Education heard a presentation Tuesday regarding the COVID-19 Decision and Communication Matrix for the upcoming school year.

One difference from last year’s matrix is there is a separation between the quarantine and isolation categories.

The return to work guidance is unchanged from last year.

Williams added the school system will continue to follow Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines.
